Kalpana Quilt

This is one of my original designs using the EQ8 quilt software.

The idea for this quilt was to create a design with a variety of blocks that when put together created something that was visually pleasing. This design definitely shows my love of symmetry. I called it Kalpana as it means Imagination in Hindi. I purposely wanted to use pink, grey and black as they look stunning together, with green to add a bit of zingy-ness.

This quilt is almost finished - it’s currently being longarm quilted. I’ll be officially launching the pattern and revealing the photo of the finished quilt the week of Festival of Quilts.
